Welcome

The Evergreen Garden Club is comprised of gardeners and nature lovers from two villages on the island of Deer Isle, Maine: Stonington and Deer Isle. Our Winters are long and cold, but the warm months are glorious and abundant with color, making the wait worthwhile.

 

We revel in the growing seasons, and spend as much time as possible in our yards, or in our neighbor's yards, talking about our gardens; what we've planted; what's thriving and what's struggling; and what birds have been showing up at the flowers and feeders. We share our plants, our knowledge, and a love for digging in the dirt in Maine.
